Crack CUET in 10 Days in 2022

Before i even get started I ask you a question…  can you crack CUET in 10 days? The answer is… yes, you can crack the CUET in 10 days.

I was in a function last week and quite a few children of my known ones asked a lot of queries. Few of those queries were…

Can I do good in CUET?

I don’t have months to prepare, how will it be possible?

I don’t have any idea about CUET.

I was so busy with my pre-board exam and practicals. Now I don’t have time.

My answer…

You are not the only one who has these limitations. Almost all students have same constraints. You should aim for complete preparation, but you don’t need to answers 100% questions correctly. You just need to do better than others. That’s it.

The truth is that you can crack the CUET with the preparation of just 10 days and I’m not kidding.

You should already have above average knowledge of your core subjects.

Here I’ll talk about the best study plan you can follow which is not unrealistic.

I’m not going to ask you to study for 18 hours a day. I’m not going to ask you to finish very popular guides/books.

I am going to give you a proper strategic plan which, if followed properly, will surely make you crack CUET in 10 days.

Just to boost your confidence, let me share my story when I was in grade VIII…

I suffered with injuries in my legs in an accident just after my term 1 exams. I could not attend the classes for 4 months (you know those days, there were no online classes). For term 2, I prepared notes from the notebooks of my school friends. I got a chance to attend school for only 12 days before my term 2. But, in those 12 days, I squashed all my energy to get maximum relevant knowledge from my teachers, classmates and the library. The result? I got second rank in the class. I still believe that if I could have prepared a plan at that time, I could have claimed 1st position in the class.

You are no different than me. You can do better than me.

Before I start talking about the study plan, let me tell you that there is even more important thing which decides your performance in CUET or similar exams. Can you guess it? It is “Social Media Platforms”.

Any plan is bound to fail if you do not quit social media platforms for these 10 days of critical preparation.

Basically, you need to avoid any kind of distraction.

First make a plan to restrict your access to your mobile or internet, e.g., 10 minutes after every 4 hours.

Cell phone is your biggest enemy if you don’t use it for the right purpose.

For these 10 days:

·      No Facebook

·      No Instagram

·      No Netflix

·      No Amazon Prime

·      No TV

·      No YouTube

Even if you want breaks, talk to your friend, take a bath, sing a song, or dance for 10 minutes. But NO distractions for these 10 days.

Now, come to the plan. I’m asking your six hours a day.

You need to do the mathematics for one hour per section. Now break that one hour into two parts of 30 minutes each. In first part solve the questions and in next part analyse the questions. This second part is the major part which students ignore and then remain confused in next practice session again.

In your CUET exam also, you just have one minute per question and that is exactly what you have to do here one minute per question and 30 minutes of solving 30 minutes of analysing. Once you start doing that you will be able to focus more on your weakness because once you start analysing you would realize which is that area or the section that you’re lacking the most. Is it logical reasoning?; is it general knowledge; or is it verbal or anything else. Once you have clear idea about your weak points, only then you can start focusing more time to strengthen the weaker topics.

This is the simplest and easiest study plan you could have ever thought of.

This plan does not require 18 hours a day.

Apply this strategy for all of your subjects and you will see that you propel yourself towards success in very short span of time.

Another important point… please prefer quality over quantity.

I always advise my students to first have a basic structure of major topics to be covered. Once you have done so, make sure that you do not try to do everything therein. Do only good and non-repetitive questions.

Remember, it is worthless to do 800 questions from 50% topics and then not having time to do questions from remaining topics. I hope you understand the point.

Moreover, if you do a lot of questions from one topic only, you will lose the interest very quickly. Keep your study diversified. It will help you maintain the interest and also cover the entire syllabus.

On any day, if you do not have much time, then don’t do 30 questions without analysing them. Do only 15 questions and analyse those questions properly. The most important point in your study plan is analysis of your attempt, and not the attempt itself.

After every 3 days, redo all the questions which you were not able to do or faced problems in.

Make micro-notes of the topics where you faced problems during solving 30 questions. Go through these notes on 10th day of your preparation.

Last but not the least… Do not prepare a long-elaborated study plan for 10 days. You will not be able to complete it. Be logical and try to do what is best suitable in a particular scenario.

If you have any questions, not feeling confident, any particular problem faced during preparation, just leave a comment in the comments section below and I’ll try to help you as soon as possible.
